Italian Community Presence in the Bowers Museum The Renaissance Lodge plaques that were place on the wall of the main museum displays since 1992 when the museum reopened. The Columbus Monument was installed that year and unveiled during the Columbus Quincenntary celebration in the museum courtyard. The Museum receives 200 - 500 visitors a day.
